Over ten years ago Y&L became a cooperative supplier ofPHILIPS, which was due to the efforts of Y&L herself and luck as well.Every year since then, Y&L has been awarded many honors at the PHILIPSSupplier Conferences: Excellent Performance Award, Supplier Silver QualityAward, Best Partner Supplier Award, Supplier Special Recognition Award, BestSupplier Award…. Especially in 2009 Y&L was granted as Sustainability Awardof Royal Philips Global Supplier Awards. Along with the yearly awards is thedevelopment and growth of Y&L.

In these years, Y&L participated in a series of sustainabledevelopment programs of PHILIPS, during which Y&L has received a great manyvaluable training, learned a lot of advanced management concepts, and got aplenty of valuable suggestion and ideas on solving problems. In addition, atthe end of each year PHILIPS conducts audits to Y&L to help to find andsolve problems, improving our management continuously.

In 2010, Y&L also participated in the lean productionproject of PHILIPS. With the help of PHILIPS, through a serious activities oftraining, current status checking, planning, acting, reviewing and improving,Y&L has make a big stride towards failure exterminating, waste eliminating,0 defect, and 0 inventory.

Y&L’s mission is “to develop green lighting components tobenefit mankind”, which conforms to PHILIPS strategic concepts. We havecommitment and liability to our society. We have requirements of continuousimprovement to our production and management. We pay even more care to ouremployees’ work and life. In the past eighteen years since the foundation ofY&L, we have successfully obtained IS09001, ISO14001 and ISO18001certificates, which not only proved the achievements Y&L has made, but alsolaid a solid foundation for further sustainable development of Y&L. Andduring all the achievements, PHILIPS has offered much help and support.

We appreciate all the support and help from PHILIPS. We willspare no efforts to work with PHILIPS and finally achieve win-wincooperation, and make mutual contribution to the development of the worldlighting industry.
